How we helped to develop platform for finding investors and investments for startups
Ametee is an Israel startup where we have developed MVP of an investment service. We did it in 2.5 months, and here are the details.
Timeline: 2.5 months
Stack: Python, Angular
Integrations: open source chat, DocuSign service
How does the system work
We have developed a two-sided web service on a monolithic architecture: on the one hand, startups in search of investment post their cases, on the other hand, investors register and choose where to invest.
Investors are often representing banks that are looking for non-standard ways to invest for their clients.

User registration screen
It was important to create a comfortable and safe environment for two sides to interact.
Screen with available chats
For example, only a verified investor who has signed an NDA with the platform can see all information about startups. Before signing the agreement, the investor sees only minimal information.
Project team
A rather large team of our specialists worked on the project — 13 people were involved in the development of the service.

Features
A large part of the project hinges on signatures and document exchange, for this we integrated the DocuSign service to manage agreements and signatures.
The sides don’t have each other’s contacts. There is Ameetee’s team between them. It analyzes startups, evaluates, checks everything for legal and financial cleanliness.
The first contact takes place in the chat room, which we have linked to the system. This is an opensource chat room, we adapted it to our requirements, added a corporate design and launched it. There is a three-way communication in it: the investor, the startups, and representatives of the service — the management company.
Screen with transaction information
Each side has statistics of deals and potential deals in their personal accounts. The progress of investments launched is also displayed there. So we have put together a system in which it is possible to go through the entire process from the initial acquaintance of the investor and the startup to the signing of all agreements and the receipt of money.

CTO Ameetee tells about the experience of working on the project with Metakratos:
“We had a task to make MVP of our platform as quickly as possible and for an affordable budget. We chose from 20 different studios. Metakratos won in terms of promises and commitments it made.
Another important important argument was relevant experience with banking systems. Although our platform is simpler than a banking application — it doesn’t have internal settlements — it is still for banks. Therefore, the experience of producing large and complete systems was taken into account.
Interaction was easy and relaxed. There was prompt communication with everyone: with the testers, and with the project manager. Even when I mistakenly wrote on the weekend.
I liked that the PMs and analysts were very tech savvy. They answered our questions often on their own, we didn’t have to wait for a tech person to go to a tech person for the answer. Techlead, tester or devops only got involved for really complex and specialized questions.
Special thanks to the design department. There was no need to give detailed assignments and then follow every button afterwards. I explained the concept and the guys did what was needed.
